Quinn Hannum is a distinguished interior architect, renowned for her exceptional ability to infuse beauty, drama, and functionality into every square foot of space. She is the founder of Quinn Hannum, a firm specializing in luxury interior architecture, custom artisan-made furniture, and landscape designs. Her holistic approach seamlessly integrates interior architecture with exterior landscapes, creating aesthetically captivating spaces that flow seamlessly into one another.
A daughter of artists, Quinn’s life has always been steeped in creativity and self-expression. Her career began in the vibrant worlds of theatre and dance, where she graced the stages of esteemed venues like the Plaza Hotel in New York City and captivated audiences internationally over an 18-year span. With a profound passion for art and design, Quinn trained her eye during her teenage years in Europe before formally studying design in the US. In 2010, Quinn graduated at the top of her class with a degree in interior design.
Her early career saw her working independently on notable residential projects such as 2 Liberty Place in Philadelphia before accepting a prestigious position at Robert A.M. Stern, one of the world's top 100 architecture firms. There, she contributed to high-profile projects like the Four Seasons Downtown in NYC and the luxurious Mount Nicholson residential development in Hong Kong.
In 2014, Quinn reestablished her firm, specializing in luxury bespoke interiors, gardens, and furniture. Coined a "design medium," Quinn intuitively places her clients’ style at the forefront of each project’s aesthetic direction. Quinn’s architecture-first design philosophy and theatre background ensure that her designs "set the stage" for beautiful and intuitive spaces that emphasize balance, drama, and strong focal points. She believes that a well-designed space should be so intentional that everything one needs is within arm's reach. Quinn also values incorporating pieces that are project-specific and unique to each client she works with. Through her collaborations with fine artisans worldwide, she meticulously designs and crafts one-of-a-kind bespoke furniture pieces and architectural finishes, resulting in a handcrafted feel that adds layers of sophistication to her projects.
